“Crossing Boundaries” 2017, Installation at the Huntington Beach Art Center. An exploration of the spatial landscapes in Hong Kong.
“Two Or More”, Plaster casts on mirror, 18”x 18”x 18”ea. Installation of 30 casts in desert setting.
“Musk Ox” Taxidermy, sequins, pins, and beach trash, 2013, 48" x 65" x 50" Maddigan builds shabby armies of, weathered, hobbling, endearing, shedding, patched, propped up, and visceral forms. The figures surprise with their uncanny juxtapositions of beach trash, found wood scraps and all manner of detritus.
“Stretch Pant Nation”, 2017, canvas, pants, pins, 72” Dia., sketch for installation of women’s worn stretch pants.
“Slide Sculptures” This body of work is made of 35mm discarded slides. Most came from fellow artists and educational institutions, deemed obsolete due to digital technology.
