12 artists engage 4000 sq. ft. of shop and gallery, creating installations suspended from the ceiling grid at the MADE by Millworks store on Pine in downtown Long Beach. Regionally acclaimed artists bring newest ideas for site-specific installations alongside emerging new talent creating their first installation works. Locations include the storefront windows, the beams and trusses overhead and 6 sites in the gallery area. Many of the featured artists offer artist-made products, and prints for sale. The resulting exhibition is an artful shopping experience, creating awareness, encouraging patrons to shop local, and see dramatic, celebratory and inventive art installations.
